Transfer files between PDF Expert and your Mac using a USB cable

You can transfer files between your computer and the PDF Expert app on your iOS or iPadOS device using a cable. 

How to use Finder for file sharing

If you're using macOS Catalina or later, use the Finder to share files between your computer and your iOS or iPadOS device.
Here’s how you can do this: 

1. Open a Finder window on your Mac. 
2. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer with a USB cable.
3. Select your device in the Finder. 
4. Click the Files tab to see a list of apps that can share files - please select PDF Expert here. 
5. Click the triangle next to an app to see the files you can share.

To copy files from your Mac to your device, please follow these steps:

1. Select the files you want to copy. 
2. Drag and drop the files to PDF Expert on your device.

To do vice versa and transfer the files from PDF Expert on your iOS device to your Mac, do as follows:

1. Select the files you want to transfer.
2. Drag the files to a folder on your computer. The Finder will copy the files to your computer.

How to use iTunes for file sharing

If you have a PC with Windows or if you use an older version of macOS, you can use iTunes for file sharing. Here’s how to do so:

1. Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
2. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using the USB cable.
3. Click your device in iTunes (under the top toolbar slider). 
4. In the left sidebar, click File Sharing.
5. Select PDF Expert.

To copy files from your computer to PDF Expert, do as follows: 

1. Select the files you want to transfer. 
2. Drag and drop files from a folder or window onto the PDF Expert list.

To do vice versa and transfer the files from PDF Expert on your iOS device to your Mac, do as follows:

1. Select the files you want to transfer. 
2. Drag and drop files from the PDF Expert list to a folder or window on your computer.
